First words out of my mouth this morning..."Did the Red Sox win?"

You might ask, "what type of fan doesn't stay up and watch the end of the game when her team is leading 3-0?"

Well, I was getting updates on my computer, but everything time I looked, something would go wrong for the Sox. Top of the 8th with the Sox at bat, bases loaded and I'm watching on my computer. Two outs - wham, bam... OK...computer off. I can't watch...And I watched game 7 in 1986 and I watched the playoffs last year. No one talks about the Teop curse...

So I didnīt watch this year..in fact, I'm not even on the continent this year...

And the Sox won...

It only took 86 years and a full lunar eclipse, but they won.

And the Patriots won earlier this year.

Now if only that Massachusetts Senator can win on Tuesday...then all that together would be perhaps a "Hail Mary"...a double eagle...a hat trick...a grand slam...a 3 point shot from center court.

I'd like to think of it as a clean sweep...
