2003-06-15 - 12:55 a.m. - hedwig rocks my world

if you are in portland between now and august 2nd, i will drag you to Hedwig and you will see the most brilliant actor perform for 1 hour and 45 minutes...wade mccollom is a genius.

i am in complete awe at how he brings the character of hedwig alive and gives such an energizing and heart-felt performance.

i sat front and center tonight and when he is talking to the audience, he makes eye-contact with you and locks you in his gaze. it's quite hypnotic and i am transported to another time and another place.

brilliant, brilliant, brilliant...i love hedwig and i love wade mccollom. i already have a ticket to see it again!!!!!!!!!

side note: i brought gummy bears for snacks for me and my friends tonight. "come on sugar daddy bring me home...."
