2003-06-13 - 11:18 p.m. - two truths and a lie Friday the 13th - it was such a good day. I'm finally free - for the next 10 weeks or so, my days, evenings and weekends are my own. And now, the only count-down is for Hedwig - less than 24 hours away! I went to an end of the school-year bbq that has been a neighborhood tradition for the past five years. I had more than one "pain killer" drinks which consist of rum, rum and more rum along with a splash of orange and pineapple juices and some coconut milk as well. Yum Yum rhymes with rum. Liquid libations levitate one's spirit. I'm a flying. We played two truths and a lie, and the other people playing get a chance to ask one question about one of your statements. You have to answer truthfully about your "truths" but can lie about your lie. It's hysterical and very enlightening. Here are mine: 1. I once went to the International Date Line looking for a "date". 2. I have one gotten a hole-in-one in my life. 3. Within the span of four days, I got both Bono and Larry Mullen, Jr.'s autographs (of the band, U2) and I got to hug Larry Mullen. If you want to play, you can post a question to me on my notes or guestbook section, and I promise to respond. Of tonight's guests at the bbq, about half of them guessed the correct statement as being a lie. "I'm free, to do what I want, any ol' time...."
